Our systems engineering experience includes testing and validation of encryptors on a simulated network test bed. Our communications modeling and simulation experience includes setting up networks in a lab environment and using test tools to capture test data at varied points on the network. Communications technologies we’ve used include TCP/IP, Inmarsat, VSAT, GSM, PSTN, PBX, WiFi, HDLC, V.35, G.711 and G.729 audio compression speech codecs, VoIP, RS-422, RS-530, Digital Selective Calling (DSC), Cisco routers, and test equipment such as the Fireberd 600, Frederick Engineering Parascope, GL Communications DCOSS central office simulator, and the Ixia/NetIQ Chariot software to develop test scripts.
All of our work includes structured technical documentation to provide the client with details of planned, actual, and completed work, as well as recommendations for moving forward.
We focus on defining customer needs and required functionality early in the development cycle, documenting requirements, then proceeding with design synthesis and system validation while considering the full life-cycle of the problem, including operations, cost & schedule, performance, training & support, test, manufacturing, and disposal.
